Unit 12 จะเกี่ยวกับการใช้ was/were นะคะ แยกตามประธานตามนี้ค่ะ

I,he,she,it, singular ใช้กับ was ตามด้วย compliment

We,you,they,plural subject ใช้กับ were ตามด้วย compliment

เช่น I was sick yesterday. เมื่อวานนี้ฉันป่วย
She was at home last night. หล่อนอยู่ที่บ้านเมื่อคืนนี้
They were in same school. พวกเขาเรียนโรงเรียนเดียวกัน (ในอดีต)
We were happy last week. พวกเรามีความสุขมากในสัปดาห์ที่แล้ว

Kate looked in her lunch box. “I have a ham sandwich and
carrot sticks,” she said. “What is in your lunch box?”
“Tomato soup and a banana,” Will said. “And something else,
too.”
“What is it?” Kate asked.
“I will give you a clue,” Will said. “What is black and white and
smells like flowers?”
“I don’t know,” Kate said. “What?”
“A skunk wearing perfume,” Will said.
“You have a skunk in your lunch box?” Kate said.
“No,” Will said. He showed Kate a piece of paper. “My mom put
a joke in my lunch box.”

Waiter: Welcome to Antico’s. Here are your menus. Today’s special is grilled salmon. I’ll be back to take your order in a minute.

Waiter: Are you ready to order?

Customer 1: I’d like some seafood spaghetti.

Waiter: And you?

Customer 2: I’ll have a hamburger and fries.

Customer 3: Do you have any salmon? I’ll have some grilled salmon.
